Summer Utah Trip 2026

We left for Utah, the day after school got out.

We helped out with two separate work days in Mom's yard.  It took a crew to get it done,  but it went quickly and everyone was happy to help. 

After connecting with Lisa Bodily Woodbury's daughter, also in Brazil on her mission, she and Benny met near the temple.   They are in different missions,  but the temple is in Benny's mission.   He saw some sisters and elders talking.  He approached them to be awkward and told them that he is an AP and there is no flirting in their mission.   Grace recognized the name on Benny's name tag and asked if his mom was Kristi.   He was not expecting that.   Haha!  They got a picture to prove the incident happened.

We also went to Home Town Buffet with the Charles side.  My mom also treated Spencer,  the kids (adult kid, Luke was able to get the day off too), John, and Finn to a day at Lagoon.  "It's what fun is!"
 

End of school year 2026

Honors night at Crater.   Lila and Andrew both received awards for their academic excellence.  Yay! Andrew looks thrilled.

End of track season district meet.  She placed 7th amongst some impressive hurdles.

We took the kids and some friends to Avenue of the Giant Boulders and Mill Creek Falls on Memorial Day.  It was a nice afternoon outing.

 

Sky Love

 Looking through the pictures on my phone,  you will find many sunrise or sunset pictures.  If I time it right, depending on the time of year, I get to see amazing sunrises on my daily walks/runs.  They bring me joy!  Here are a few.
