August

Our primary had a pet parade one Saturday in August.  The kids brought their pets and showed them off for judging.  Spencer put Charlie on a belted leash.  He won the prize for the most unusual pet.

 Elder K from played on some Japanese soccer team before his mission.  He and his companion held a soccer clinic for kids in the ward.  The kids loved it.

 Andrew and Luke liked the idea of having a hanging eye ball, or maybe it is having an eyeball outside of their eye socket.  I don't know.

 Our brother in law has a bit of a Brady Bunch fetish and this bread box in the background only validated his Brady connection.  He saw the breadbox in the background one day and was so excited because he has the exact same one in his kitchen.  When we saw the breadbox in the back ground while we were watching we had to snap a picture.

 Spencer met this man while out for work.  We were amazed by his beard length.  It must have taken a decade to grow those icicles.

 Spencer lights the candle on Charlie's birthday cake.  I just realized that we didn't get any still shots of Charlie eating his cake. They were all videos. The poor child suffers from 6th child picture neglect.

 but this we document?... Spencer went to the Redding waterslides for a youth activity.  He saw many a tattoo, but this was his favorite of the day.

 We have a mole that likes to tunnel around in our yard.  It emerged by our garden leaving this mound.  Andrew put sticks in it later and called it a temple.

 Spencer's Hershey bar melted in his car.  He snippet the corner and had himself a liquid candy bar.

 Andrew was pretty proud of himself for bridging himself in this gap.

 Spencer helped hunt and kill this skunk for some friends.

 Spencer went on the stake high adventure camp out with the youth.  They hiked Mount McLaughlin, the highest peak in southern Oregon.

Luke couldn't find any socks.  Because our boys don't take care of their socks and leave them all over the place, I insisted that he find his own socks.  Instead of finding a reasonable solution, he fashioned himself a pair of socks out of paper towels.  He wore them to the wedding we were going to.

 Andrew and Charlie playing outside together.  Boys will be boys no matter how young.
