Christmas

Christmas Eve brought in a monster snow storm. Spencer worked on keeping the drive way and walk ways clear for people coming up for the Higginson festivities.

After we ate from a variety of soups, we all gathered together for the reading of the Nativity story while the children played the parts. We then sang Christmas songs, and sat around talking. The following pictures are from the evening program.

Christmas morning we opened presents, went to Grandpa Van's, and then to my Dad's house.

Leslie opened the last gift from the 12 days of Christmas that someone had anonymously brought.

Mark and Suzy came up to eat breakfast and watch people open presents.

Mark had to cook his whole wheat pancakes on the dryer because the kitchen breaker kept tripping.

We went over to Grandpa Charles'. The boys all got toy Caterpillars. Luke was in heaven. To top off the Caterpillar theme, the next day we went to Wheeler Machinery and drove around amongst the real tractors. They are so huge and neat.
