Spencer's brother, John, his wife, Tawnie, and their kids, John, Emily, Thomas, Jack, Sam, and Leah came to visit us in August. We went to the Redwoods, rafted, and spent time together playing and visiting. When we have family come visit we consider it a vacation for us as well. It was so much fun sharing a vacation with John and Tawnie's family. We had a great time and hope they can make it our way more often.
Look at those trees!

Spencer and John wore these nerdy, yet helpful, hands-free walkie talkie devices.

Spencer daintily dangling from a neat tree along the Reed-Simpson Grove in Jedidiah Smith State Park.

Look how tiny the kids look compared to those monster trees. It is flabbergasting!

Andrew likes to scrunch up his face and breath through his nose. We can't seem to get enough of it.

Hello up there Luke!

Here we are.

Still scrunch-faced nose breathing

Between the two families (15 in total), there were only five females, and here we are.

Here are some of the boys, acting like boys.

Luke liked how this piece of wood looked like a banana chair.

Back at home, the kids played in the yard.
John pushing in back, Leah, Andrew, and Lila riding

The morning of their departure, these boys (Jack, Thomas, and Spencer) put on the rock concert they had promised us.

Spencer and John "opened" for the boys to break the ice a little bit.

Lila and Sam played a little diddy for us as well.
