Thanksgiving visitors

My sister and her family came up for Thanksgiving. You wouldn't know it if you only looked at the pictures in this posting because I took zero pictures with them while they were here.  I am hoping they will send me the pictures they took from the boys' hike up to the big foot trap by Applegate Reservoir.
It was so fun having them here, cousins to play with around the clock, good company, and lots of Thanksgiving food and relaxation.
Thanks for making the long haul to spend the week with us.  We love it.

Kim took our family picture for Christmas cards.  It was literally a five minute thing.
We tried this approach, but the tree took up a third of the picture, and as you can see, we didn't have much cooperation from the kids.
This is what I really had envisioned, with all of our heads close together and the baby laying by us, but as we  laid down for the picture, it started to rain.  Everyone is squinting to keep raindrops from our eyes.  Charlie looks cute though.

We got a bag of hand-me-downs for Charlie from some friends.  Andrew found this 3-6 month onesie and wanted to wear it.  It was a little tight.  He should have worn it on the Civil war game day between the Ducks and the Beavers.  We don't get into the rivalry though.

Benny and Luke made this interesting pyramid with the wood blocks.
Spencer tried on Lila's fancy dress.
The boys love to snuggle with Charlie.
Here's another of Spencer's (the kid) notes he made for himself.  It reads:
To Do List
Make list and check off list
Get dressed
eat food
brush teeth
go to school
Reading, math, and rocket math at school
eat lunch
use bathroom
most important - Be Awesome
Luke got an old Granola bar box and made a diorama for fun.  He made a desert-ish back ground (if purple is desert-ish) and taped down a rubber snake and a few rocks.

I love that Charlie is the only looking at the camera, when usually babies are the only ones looking away. I also get a kick out of Spencer's lists! Luke is quite creative.
